چکیده

We study the gauged U(1)B−L extensions of the models for neutrino masses and dark matter. In this class of models, tiny neutrino masses are radiatively induced through the loop diagrams, while the origin of the dark matter stability is guaranteed by the remnant of the gauge symmetry. Depending on how the lepton number is violated in the neutrino mass diagrams, these models are systematically classified. We present a complete list for the one-loop Z2 and the two-loop Z3 neutrino mass models as examples of the classification. These underlying gauge symmetries and its breaking patterns can be probed at future high energy colliders by looking at the width of the new gauge boson. ∗ [email protected][email protected][email protected] 1 ar X iv :1 60 4. 07 89 4v 1 [ he pph ] 2 7 A pr 2 01 6

Loop induced type-II seesaw model and GeV dark matter with U(1)B−L gauge symmetry

Abstract We propose a Higgs triplet model with U(1)B−L gauge symmetry and several new fermions in no conflict with anomaly cancellation where the neutrino masses are given by the vacuum expectation value of Higgs triplet induced at the one-loop level. The new fermions are odd under discrete Z2 symmetry and the lightest one becomes dark matter candidate. We find that the mass of dark matter is t...

Degenerate or Hierarchical Neutrinos in Supersymmetric Inflation

Two moderate extensions of the minimal supersymmetric standard model are considered. The first one includes a U(1)B−L gauge group, while the second is based on a left-right symmetric gauge group. In these models, hybrid inflation is ‘naturally’ realized and the μ problem is solved via a Peccei-Quinn symmetry. Baryon number conservation is an automatic consequence of a R-symmetry. The baryon asy...

Neutrino Mass , Proton Decay and Dark Matter in TeV Scale Universal Extra Dimension Models

We show how the problem of small neutrino masses and suppressed proton decay can be simultaneously resolved in 6-D universal extra dimension models (UED) with a low fundamental scale using extended gauge groups that contain the local B − L symmetry. The extra space dimensions are compactified either on a T /Z2 or T /Z2 × Z ′ 2 orbifold depending on whether the full gauge group is SU(2)L×U(1)I3R...

Derivation of Dark Matter Parity from Lepton Parity.

It is shown that in extensions of the standard model of quarks and leptons where the additive lepton number L is broken by two units, so that Z_{2} lepton parity, i.e., (-1)L which is either even or odd, remains exactly conserved, there is the possibility of stable dark matter without additional symmetry. This applies to many existing simple models of Majorana neutrino mass with dark matter, in...

Planck Scale Symmetry Breaking and Majoron Physics

Majoron models provide neutrino masses via the spontaneous breaking of a global U(1) symmetry. However, it may be argued that all global symmetries will be explicitly violated by gravita-tional effects. We show that it is possible to preserve most of the usual features of majoron models by invoking U(1) B−L to be a gauge symmetry and adding a second singlet scalar field. The majoron gets a smal...
